BEFORE YOU COMMENT: 1. The boys were NEVER locked in. They could have left at any point before the police arrived, they were too dumb/drunk to realize that they could/should leave. 2. These decisions were not made by a robot/AI. Human operators are watching live feeds of every Waymo in operation. If you are in a Waymo, people are watching you on those cameras.. there are many videos of this. These boys were in open contact with a real human who was asking them (over the car's speakers) to stop. 3. It's the camera-watching-eployee's job to hit the "pull over safely and refuse service" button if they see people endangering public safety in the car.. if they didn't and then these kids cause an accident, Waymo is responsible for everyone injured/killed because they knew someone was endangering public safety using their equipment, knew they could stop it, and yet neglected to do anything about it.
