ALL wild caught fish has parasites. Farmed fish typically doesnt but not 100%. You MUST freeze your raw fish before eating it. Here is the FDAs regulation that is almost 100% effective and is the guideline for restaurants.

never eat wild caught never frozen salmon. 🙄 always previously frozen and farmed lowers chances of parasites. wild is basically 100% parasites.

I always have dreams where I’m eating raw fish’s and it’s divine but then I see tiny parasites crawling on it and get grossed out but still eat it lmao

giiirrrlll as someone that worked as a fish monger the parasites had me on edge 😭😭 Ik a lot of people mentioned it here already but some states/countries don't hold proper safety standards for something to be sushi grade. It technically IS edible but unless it's been frozen for awhile depending on your freezer there will DEFINITELY be a risk of these worms. I find it's more so common in atlantic salmon over the other kinds of salmon you could commonly buy.
