A few years ago I met one of these lovely ladies right here in Canada. She opened with "How much do you think I paid for these shoes?" Turns out she came all the way from Osaka to take care of her family; her son had passed away 5 years prior and her Grandson had cancer. Even so she was smiling so brightly and she was so kind and really made my day. I hope she's doing well. 🥰
