Autism (the type of profile that fits Nathan Fielder) and sociopathy are like oil and water. Sociopaths bet on being able to predict the behavior of others, and manipulating them accordingly. But autistic people are not predictable, nor do we follow the behavior of others just because. So not only are we not as susceptible to manipulation, but we understand the world in patterns and seek truth/accuracy and are allergic to bs. This is the perfect type of person that can go toe to toe with a sociopath.

I’m ND and I believe I’m overly perceptive. I sometimes feel like I can tell if a person is hollow inside/everything they do is an affectation or performance. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it makes me VISCERALLY uncomfortable. I felt that discomfort watching the teaser. Nathan Fielder is going to be phenomenal to watch work.
