i called out my friend for trying to baby trap her bf of 5 months after he broke up with her. mind you we were also 15/16 and she lived in abusive household. she went around telling people that i wasn’t a real feminist because i wouldn’t “respect her choice to keep her baby” (she wasn’t even pregnant, her period just came a few weeks late) and that i was just jealous (i’m aromantic)

when someone exhibits behavior that doesn't make sense, odds are it's to satisfy an insecurity or fulfill some kind of need. in this case, it's probably sexual value. I think most humans want to be valued sexually. there's nothing wrong with that, but as you can see, it's important enough that it can be chosen over other things if it's desired enough

I work in a female dominated job. Just curious about this emotional superiority part. Often I hear women that are supposed to be good friends talk the nastiest shit about each other behind the other woman's back. It seems to be more the rule than the exception at this point. Not sure I buy this whole narrative. Seems like you don't deal with problems just let them fester, and then have a major breakup when the truth comes out.
