I once drove an hour to a Barnes & Noble for a date. We sat in the cafe & talked for two hours. I bought a bottle of water. He bought nothing. It was the day Michael Jackson died. That’s why I remember it. He shook my hand. Said “Keep in touch”. Never heard from him again. His loss as I’m wealthy. 😂

A coffee date for your first date is ideal for me personally, you get to know each other, share interests and all- a whole course meal or a steak dinner would personally overwhelm me that too if it’s with a person who’s a complete stranger I’m getting to know 😭

So i met this random girl and we talked a bit. i wanted coffee so offered to get her some. we drank coffee and walked in the park. I got hungry so offered her lunch at this hole in the wall diner. ha so much fun I took her to the fair across the street. Later I took her back to my gouse for dinner because it was in the crock pot. made her breakfast the next morning. all because she said yes to coffee

The thing is, if a youg man is actively courting, he will meet with many girls, one a week, lets saw. And a 300 dollar dinner evey week just find a girl he likes. Thats just not financially wise.
