In a day with ai and background removals, if they really wanted to post it just take her out, this is not a reason to end a friendship, and if you’re aiming to take instagram pictures rather than keep memories, don’t make them ALL group photos to the point where if u didn’t post those you don’t have enough

Tbh not every photo has to be posted online 🤷♀️. I think it’s valid for someone to not want photos of them posted online if they’re uncomfortable with it and/or don’t like how they look in those photos.

I find it tiring to hear that people want to post eveeything for the memories when in fact there are so many other ways to keep those memories. Most of the time, the ones who push to post just want the attention too. I mean, just print it out and put it in an album.

For me i am so insecure about the way i look in pictures most of the time the pictures people take of me are ugly, and i don’t like some one to post a photos of me specially if they take it, and i think its pretty normal to ask some to not post it if i don’t like it.

Everyone’s missing the point where she said “it’s completely understandable if u don’t like one specific picture but if every single photo is only about whether you feel 100% perfect” that’s an issue and you need to get over that. Because at the end of the day, a billion ppl aren’t gonna see you, and if they do, they don’t care about the mole on your face yk ? The fun of posting with your friends and holding memories without shoving your personal insecurities in the way.

I’m not downplaying the issue, but I do think ending a friendship over pictures is kind of crazy ALTHOUGH I do see there was more to it. Like if they’d just left it at “okay it’s kind of a bummer she doesn’t want the pictures put out” and just left it at that, maybe it would have ended differently, like maybe they could’ve stayed good friends.

it’s kinda valid from both points of view tbh but I feel that when it comes to pics taken on vacation/having a good time with friends it’s complicated to always look drop amazing… it’s not really about how pretty you are irl. I get how hard being insecure may be to not be able to stare at your own image, but it’s completely normal not to look drop dead gorgeous in every group photo, you know what I mean?

See, I understand both sides. But I also feel like not every picture needs to be posted. Some can just stay in our camera rolls as memories. I also understand that when people post pictures, they naturally focus more on how they themselves look and might not notice how everyone else looks. Still, I think it'd be nice if we all looked out for each other a little and made sure everyone's comfortable with the pictures we put out there😃
