Then wouldn’t topical make the most sense? You inhibit 5ar activity locally while reducing (not eliminating) 5ar inhibition activity in serum? This would presumably help you keep the neuro steroid benefits of DHT while also staying at/around physiological levels of DHT.

Most of the sides dont even come from the lack of DHT in the first place its the 5AR itself. Maybe youd avoid the gyno sides, but all the mental sides if you had them on 5AR inhibitors likely arent gonna be fixed by adding DHT (unless it was the lack of DHT metabolites that was helping)
