"Never flex their wealth" is incorrect. They do flex their wealth, they're just not flexing it for the masses like us but flexing for other billionaires. An expensive car and designer clothes are normal and attainable to billionaires the same way being able to afford groceries are to us. What they consider worth flexing to each other are the things not all billionaires have- their impact to society, the unique experiences only possible because of their wealth, etc.
