This is a very good perspective because being a good person doesn’t mean you’re always going to be kind, nice, or get everything right. We’re human. There will be days when we don’t show up as the person we desire to be every day. I know some genuinely great people who have let me down not because they intended to hurt me, but because they weren’t aware of how their actions affected me. Sometimes being unaware of your own wounds can make you blind to the pain you’re causing someone else. That’s why I think intention and impact matter. Awareness, accountability, and communication are what allow us to grow.

I disagree. This low key don’t make sense. Good people strive to be accepted and loved. Their intentions are never to hurt anyone. If their level of maturity cannot process what it means to be around something healthy than it can be a worse experience for them and they need some self reflection. It has nothing to do with the person that is good. It has everything to do with the person that’s receiving it

I don’t necessarily agree, that impact overrides intentions, 100% at a time some people‘s impact are almost their fault because people’s mentality are the way they see the world can come from a traumatic standpoint how they can project their insecurities onto a situation or a person. And that’s why a conversation needs to be happened and explain both experiences and then come to the middle ground.
