And your app is live. But here is where it gets interesting. Netlify is not just hosting websites anymore. It can run backend functions, store data, handle authentication, run scheduled jobs, and even provide AI services. That means a decision that started as, “Where should I host my website?” can quietly become: “How should I architect my application?” And AI may happily keep adding Netlify services because they are already there. That does not mean they are the wrong choice. But you should know why you are choosing them. Vibe coding makes it easy to add another service. I hate netlify, its easy to hit its monthly credit, I like vercel but in our area vercel domains are being blocked by a certain telecommunication network for some reason
