Let’s encourage people to be stay curious enough to learn. Learning is good for the brain. We’re slowly, no, QUICKLY getting to a point where anybody out there can call themselves an artist all because they clicked a few buttons. Didn’t have to put in the work. No creativity. No soul. Nothing. Just costumes. I think ai tools had the capability / potential of being just that, good tools, but we’re far past that. We’re on another planet now. It’s gotten out of control. No one has to do anything anymore because they can simply ask the super computer to be “an artist” for them. Let’s keep music education alive. Let’s all strive to learn. Let’s not encourage the reverse fucking opposite of that, like wtf are we doing here man, what tf is even going on.

Astra also just wiped out 3d modeling jobs in one update. It can now open up Blender or Maya and model anything you ask it to. 🤯

People are against this and I understand fr, as a independent artist I truly understand but I won’t lie, this helps those artist who can’t afford a good mix or can’t afford graphic designers smh it’s a catch 22 type situation

It takes quite a bit of setup for full integration but yes I have a simultaneous feedback loop and real time referencing connected for Astra. It’s basically Jarvis for Ableton. Lmk if you want it I’ll dm the app to you.

Fyi the AI is replicating a human feeling or human-like patterns in mixing/mastering it will not sound as good as the real thing, not saying it wont in the future but for now nah

For all the AI NOOBS - basically knowing how to mix will make this process extremely better. Imagine you complete the whole mix, but you have freq build up that you can’t seem to smooth out, you can use this as a tool to get you closer to your goal and build off of it
