It's a reason but not the sole reason. Abuse is predominantly a cause in some cases and infidelity esp with the influx of young yt girls now where I live. Fathers marry and abandon women and children over time with this repetition who will want to get married really? I speak from experience. Lets us not be microscopic and only blame education and women only. I say if marriage was heavenly for women no woman would want to escape it. Who does not want a man loving her? Look around see how many marry for the sunnah to take care of a woman? How many marry a divorcee to look after her? None!!! Even men seek pleasure and youth, they pick and choose!!! Always. Why blame women for picking and choosing now?
