@jasminlaine: Think of how many times we have witnessed this in recent years… Nobody claps for the people who were right first. They get mocked, ignored, occasionally reported. Then, months later, the same people who dismissed them start saying the exact same thing. When it goes too far, when it stops being as risky, when it personally impacts them. Being early isn’t a virtue people reward. It’s a cost most people aren’t willing to pay. So they wait and they nod along… They stay quiet until it’s safe to be right. I agree with you on that point but the only way to be certain that the mps and the government and its ministers are telling the truth not lying is to make it a felony to lie in parliament knowing that it's a lie and spreading misleading information to the Canadian people. This would differently stop any politicians no matter what party lying to the Canadian people are responsible to tell the truth if not they're liable.
