A realtors ultimate job is to secure listings and get them on the market at a competitive price with an attractive listing. If this is done correctly the agent really doesn’t have to do a lot more a lot of the time.

Their value has changed. It’s much less about selling the home and far more about facilitating the transaction. Honestly, the most critical part is ensuring that the title work is done properly. And that’s something I feel they could lean into and present more value to their clients.

Interesting, I bought directly from the seller and it was INFINITELY easier than dealing with a realtor. They’re worthless.

I really feel like certainty is the answer here. If you’re certain that you don’t need a realtor, you don’t. If you’re certain that you do need one, than you do. One successful transaction does not negate a realtor tho
