I feel the denial of bifurcation screwed Lindsay big time. The three jurors speaking out today said she was already guilty, so they had to decide between responsible or not responsible. People just don’t seem to fully grasp that she did not plead guilty and guilt needs to be proven beyond reasonable doubt before they can have the discussion around responsible or not responsible. I’m on the other side of the world in Australia and can understand this - why can’t the jurors?

On good morning America today, the interviewer said the jurors were leaning to NGRI and Reddington didn’t correct him. I thought the 11-1 ruling was assumed to be full acquittal. Although I know that we’re assuming that, in general, from the jury notes.

I find it baffling that people who are making the argument of how can a mother unalive her kids and don't think she was psychotic can't even for a second entertain the idea that it's possible Patrick's had a lot to do with it. Did that make sense? So much makes sense in my head but not on paper 😂 like why is it believable a mother could do it irregardless of her mental state but they can't fathom a man doing it

OMG please look at the Boston10 interview of the 3 jurors that just came out an hour ago! I’m tearing my hair out with all of this gaslighting!!!! Imagine having the effing FOREWOMAN of your case saying that the trial “was not about whether she did it or not, she did it, we know that” Aahhhhhhhhh!!!!! Why are we all so dumb in the US!

The final say of the defense is LC as she IS the client. KR often characterizes LC as “very intelligent”. Therefore, I assume KR and LC discussed strategy/desired outcomes. In that vein, perhaps their agreement was for NG not CR and therefore the primary strategy. He peppered in reasonable doubt but the defense strategy was of a postpartum psychosis emphasis. He was hired for that purpose because that is his reputation as a litigator. That is the only way I can make sense of this is that Lindsay desires NG not CR.

I used to work for a damages consultant firm. I think of it like reserving a right to argue the scenarios. The party sued can claim the market infringement or other harm didn’t occur because of us, but if you find that it did… then it’s this calculation of a tiny number our expert witness came up with. In civil, just because you have experts and a number doesn’t mean you think you should have to pay anything at all.
