My story can't bore me because they write themselves sometimes. a character who shouldn't be involved on the scene decided to get kidnapped. She wrote herself that way and I'm dealing with the consequences of it😭

Natural disasters are fantastic for this. Sometimes they really do come out of nowhere and the impact they leave can be as devastating as you want it to be. Like when I was a kid, a typical fall rainstorm ended up turning into a flashflood that devastated my entire neighborhood. By some stroke of luck because of where my house was located on the mountain and a decorative boulder that diverted a lot of water, mine was the only house that was just fine when the sun came back out. Sometimes your character gets lucky. Sometimes they're a vampire that has to find shelter after a hurricane before sunrise.

I don’t know if you’ve made a video about this already, but if you haven’t could you maybe do one about how to choose the right idea because I have so many and they always feel exciting at first but then they lose their spark and no idea feels good enough to actually stick with
