my kid has a bleeding disorder and the flu shot is too big of a needle without risk of him getting a muscle bleed and he's too young for the nasal spray one, so I made sure my husband and I got our flu shots to protect him while he can't get that one yet. just different perspective on that

Tip, get vaccine from the nearest city. Tell people who ask they know a trusted person there but never give details. City people won't usually care about family details amd if you live away enough, you can tell doctor your family got their shots back at home. Pa Kent can do this but in another city with another doctor. I mean if they do mind about not getting a flu shot.

I'm there are people that generally cannot get their flu shots granted that's not usually because indestructible aliens but you could probably come up with a human reason why you guys got vaccinated and clock didn't that doesn't look like child neglect
