My first son was stillborn at 32 weeks. After his death I would go sit at his grave a lot and a red dragonfly would come and sit on his marker while I was there. Now I see a red dragonfly on his burthday every year.

I worked in LTC when my fav patient who was in the Navy died. He came to me in a dream the night he passed and was showing me around his ship. We sat talked and had our first beer together. He told me if you ever need me I’ll be here *pointed to the ocean* I came into work the next day for to find out he chose to be buried at Sea.

when I was seven years old, my father was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Him and I were incredibly close. I was 100% at daddy‘s girl. I would stand by the front door every night and wait for him to come home so I could give him the biggest hug in the world. When my mom and him found out he only had a few weeks to live the very first words out of his mouth were how are we going to tell Rebecca. Thankfully, instead of lasting two weeks he did last seven months. He refused chemo because he wanted to be able to have as much time with us as possible. I was holding his hand when he took his last breath and would sit at his grave for weeks on end after he passed talking with him as if he was still here. My mom was so worried that she had taken me to see a child psychologist who told her I was grieving perfectly. The night that he passed away, my mom invited my two best friends over to spend the night because she thought it would bring me comfort. I was laying in my bed. I had fallen asleep when I suddenly felt this overwhelmingly warm sensation come over my body, and I woke up sitting at the foot of my bed was a figure of my dad glowing almost like a soft warm light and he had his hand on my leg with this very soft smile and all he said to me was tell your mom everything‘s going to be OK it felt like an eternity. I can see it like it was just yesterday and I got out of bed walked to the living room where my grieving mother was crying in private, thinking her children had gone to bed. She said I was stoic, stone faced. I was as calm as she had ever seen me and I said in my very sweet little seven-year-old voice mom dad just told me to tell you that everything’s going to be OK. I am 42 years old and it is one of the most profound moments I have ever had in my entire life. Since that moment, I have had very close moments where the veil has sent and I think it’s because he chose to come visit me to deliver a message to my mom. I fully believe that we all have our version of Heaven and I want to be a huge believer in reincarnation.

my mom died 1st june this year i kept dreaming about her and that didn't seem to really bother me except being emotional and all...on august i dreamt of her telling me she was sent by God and her name is Jedothor mind you her name was Grace....i looked up the meaning and found nothing 2 nights later she comes to my dreams again telling me it means the chosen one of God☹️

I was listening to this video driving home and genuinely thought “I wish nana would send me a sign she’s ok” the second I got out of the car I saw a penny in the spot next to me. My brother and sister passed away in 1998 and every week my mum would visit the cemetery; same day, different times. For about 20 years it never rained while she was there. It could have been raining all day and it would stop when she got to the cemetery.

my uncle passed in 2002 of cancer at age 49. the evening he passed (at home), he was unconscious but kept raising his hands, as if to push someone away and kept repeating "no, not now". my cousin arrived from the states (where he lives) and not too long after, my uncle passed away. it was like he was waiting for his son to arrive so he could pass on.

when I was working at nursing homes taking care of hospice patients, I had a lot of them say that they saw their mother's. I guess moms are serious when they say "I brought you into this world, and I can take you out."

I worked at a state supported living center for developmentally disabled people. We had a client who was there on hospice. Everyone loved her. A few years after I started, her health declined very quickly. A nurse asked me to lay with her to try to help her relax and to help even out her heart rate. When I left that morning, she was alive. I went straight to bed when I got home. I had a dream that she was standing in my room. I talked to her about what was going on and told her my nephew was in heaven and would play with her. Then she told me she loved me. I told her I loved her too. Then I got woken up by the phone; my coworker was calling to tell me she passed. I still have the necklace that we were given by her parents at the funeral.

Two stories. I grew up with an abusive alcoholic for a father. Whenever he would fight with my mom and wake me up at night, there would always be a man I couldn’t recognize standing guard at my bedroom door with his back to me. He would tell me to go back to sleep and I’d be safe. It was my great grandfather who died before I was born. After, my great grandmother passed away, I would always see her in a dream within hours of a relative passing away.
