Daniel :
Have we not used our eyes? Marinette is so smart and creative she has gotten a spoon from a lucky charm and found something to use it, the lucky charm can give anyone what they need but they have to figure out how to use it? and she has never failed, we see this with mister bug and alya, they both used the lucky charm and went more practical.

i honestly wish that they’d go further with this, yes she is the main character however in the earlier seasons it’s implied that she has something “special” to her compared to all the other holders. i honestly think it’d be so interesting if they added to this plot line

maybe because previous holders would only fight in wars and have to deal with less serious things but marinette has the fate of the universe in her hands

I think what makes her so special is simply herself. I mean, she's literally the best superhero in the whole world, nobody can solve problems and admit mistakes like her. She has a huge heart and always wants to help everyone and see the best in everyone, no matter what or who they are. In the end, what makes her so special is simply being who she is.

i don’t think there needs to be some secret trait or background for her to be special. her intelligence, kindness and determination is what makes her special.
