@therealniccoy: Kindness isn’t weakness. It’s what you choose to do with your power. 🕊️ #lighttriad #darktriad #HealingJourney #personaltrainer #psychology
That used to be called morality, character, and integrity

It's also called suicidal empathy or martyrdom..
And I can guarantee a light triad in the right context would turn dark..

When taking the MMPI to get a mental health evaluation/ diagnosis, I scored “unrealistically high” on the belief that people are inherently good. I’m starting to understand that while capable of great kindness, people have turned away from goodness and acceptance.
Okay but can we name it something else? Sounds too gang. 😅

Uh, those are base values to me. And I feel like that’s setting the bar pretty low.

oh and I thought that seeing the good in people was a survival mechanism. where I'd find 1 good thing about them and stick to it so I can feel safe around toxic colleagues.

End violence against women 🌍 :
the problem is we attract the worst kind of people when we are young because we don’t know that some people are bad. Because we see the good in everyone we allow ourselves open to manipulation and abuse. Now we’re older and more educated we see that empathy and kindness doesn’t mean weakness and that the abuse we suffered didn’t ruin us because actually we are extremely powerful (just tired) 🤷♀️

I've never liked the idea of manipulating people. And people, in my experience, do tend to be good overall but circumstances and experiences can be what turns them bad. Doesn't mean they need to be discarded. Some just need to be cared for a little more.
Great video. Thank you. 🥰

They’re *capable* of goodness, but most choose the path of least resistance which is usually siding with abusers

So surviving a psychopath might make you heal into the opposite of the dark psychopath 🤔

i do find good in everybody but i find myself disappointed very often especially cause of roomates stuff and i think most people try to take advantage as much as they can in this down world. but the goal is def to surround myself only with people i can trust eventually (when i can afford my own place)
