If you follow some of my theories, you might actually miss part of the fallen feminine by dividing everything too neatly into “angel” and “demon.” The feminine current doesn’t necessarily stay obediently on one side of the cosmic filing cabinet. Isis herself is a perfect symbol for this: mother, magician, mourner, throne, protector and resurrector. She can descend into fragmentation and still be the intelligence that gathers the pieces back together. That’s why I don’t think the 72 are as rigid as they first appear. On paper we inherit ranks, names, seals and hierarchies, and those structures are useful. But symbolically, once you start comparing the 72 with angels, planetary currents, mythology and psychology, the boundaries become much more fluid. Something apparently “demonic” can reveal a protective or transformative function, while something apparently “angelic” can demand confrontation, severance, discipline or destruction of an old identity. Maybe the feminine current is especially good at exposing that problem. She can be Isis searching for Osiris, Persephone descending, Inanna stripped at the gates, or Sophia falling into matter. Different traditions, different stories—but the recurring archetypal movement is fascinating: descent does not automatically mean evil, and ascent does not automatically mean good. Sometimes consciousness has to descend precisely because something has been lost down there. So I treat the 72 less like 72 prisoners locked permanently inside labelled cells and more like a symbolic court of forces. Keep the historical tradition intact—but then watch what happens when the archetypes begin talking across its boundaries. The map may be rigid. The psyche using the map certainly isn’t.

July 2023 I received a formal adhd diagnosis and started meds. Had a horrible reaction to it, resulting in a menty / nervy b in August. What became after that journey led to me quitting my corporate job the following year to be an astrologer. I was trying meds as a means of fitting better into corporate and it proved that was never going to be an option ever again.
