If a god sees women as acceptable collateral damage then he is not a god, worth worshiping, regardless of what else he might say. We are either full and equal participants or we are sacrifices. We cannot be both.

I get frustrated when theists debate atheists and will ask where we get our morals and sense of right or wrong without god. Easiest answer is the truth. From our evolving sense of justice and fairness demonstrated by continuous updating of our legal systems.

I really think about the book of job how much focus is on how god was trying to test just him. And yet losing his kids and wealth also effected his wife. I know people interpret losing her support as part of his test but why should she have to suffer these things at all just so job could be proven as a “good guy”? 💯 agree god uses women as collateral damage just to show the “glory of god” or men 😔
