What I don’t understand is why these politicians and city councils want data centers so badly for? They produce no jobs, no income to tax, they gave away the property taxes in waivers, they bring zero economic activity to the region, and they cause major hikes to utility rates for citizens. There’s literally not a single good thing about a data center…. So why do they want them so badly?

If that’s the case, the state did NOT “dole out” money. Dole out means they handed them money eu, what you showed was that they set up tax incentives for their business to be in Ohio. That practice has been in place for decades by all state and city governments. The incentive raises the likelihood of investment in the state and job opportunities. Tell the truth. Speak plain and stop making crap up!
