@tifferjae: This double standard is WILD to me. Some people said Charlie Kirk deserved to die because they hated the things he said. Now some of those same voices are arguing Lindsay Clancy deserves compassion, freedom, or even a pardon after three children were killed. Make that make sense. You don’t have to like Charlie Kirk. You don’t have to agree with a single word he ever said. But disagreeing with someone’s politics doesn’t make murder acceptable. And mental illness absolutely deserves to be taken seriously—but compassion and accountability can exist at the same time. Cora, Dawson and Callan don’t get a second chance. 💔 So how did we get to a place where words are treated as unforgivable, but killing children is treated as excusable?
