You may have the right of way in the right lane but to save yourself the hassle, move over. Yes I know the boat has the right of way. Suppose something broke in the suv steering, defensive driving should be utilized in all scenarios. One more thing that’s why it’s called an accident and not a purpose.

It’s not the freeway drivers responsibility to yield to oncoming traffic . It’s your responsibility to either speed up or slow down to merge.

Acura is at fault 100% and the dash cam driver saved the truck guy a boat load of money🤣 you can clearly see it’s still solid white after impact. Not only are they supposed to yield as merger but you cannot merge until entrance lines become slotted

It’s obvious that it’s the car‘s fault, but when it comes to the law that I did not write the law, the car entering the interstate should not yield or slow down. Vehicles in the slow lane need to move over to let them in. This is unfortunate.

You do not have to legally allow anyone to merge. It is the merging vehicles job to yield to traffic and ensure that they can merge safely. EVERY. TIME. That is how the law is written. Van at fault.

The vehicle on the main interstate has the right to maintain the lane and speed. Anybody coming onto or merging has to either speed up or slow down. Or even stop if they have to.
