But then I had 6 kids and realised that I was missing so much of their childhood. Yes, I was able to provide for them with the secure job I had in teaching, but I was paying for that security with something I could never get back… TIME. Let me remind you of this when the world will trick you to believe otherwise ↓ Time is the most valuable currency because once we’ve spent it, we simply can’t get it back. And it became really difficult to ignore how much of that currency I was spending on priorities other than my family. Money is still absolutely essential. But I wanted a way to make money that didn’t require me to give away most of my day to earn it. That’s what eventually led me to trading. Because I wanted a skill that could give our family more options. Now I can trade for around 10 minutes, close the laptop, and go back to the life I actually wanted to be present for.
