@millennialmomrebellion: I'm sitting at the table in a sports bra, and my son starts playing with my stomach. When I sit down, I have rolls… because that's what a normal body does. I'd be lying if I said these rolls never don’t make me feel insecure especially postpartum. My son, he doesn't feel any of that. He's not tracking my weight or my body fat percentage. He just sees his mom, and he sees nothing wrong with what he's touching. Because there isn't anything wrong with it. Our kids find the exact thing we get insecure about and don't see a single problem with it. They're not being kind. They just haven't learned there was supposed to be a problem. Just a friendly reminder: the impact you leave on your kids has nothing to do with what your body looks like. 🤍 Moms: what's a part of you your kid loves exactly as it is?
