I’m going to a baby shower and I noticed the new mom didn’t put literally anything for herself on her registry. Nothing postpartum, nothing to make her labor/delivery experience easier. I got her many things off her registry but I also made her a self care and postpartum basket. You easily forget all about yourself the second you become a mom. I got her slippers, a robe, pads of different sizes, tucks, dermaplast, under eye patches, a heating pad, nausea smelling sticks, a labor comb, a rechargeable nightlight, a fan, and I’m going to add a bunch of snacks and hydration packs. I remember being a first time mom and I wish I had put these things on my registry.

Wipe warmers are such a waste. They dry out your wipes, and if you have to change them while you're out of the house, you aren't going to have one anyway..

Coming from a mom that had 2 babies SCREAM when cold wipes touched them, don’t listen to anyone about the wipe warmer. We used ours religiously.

You can get cloth wipes and use warm water if you want. Its more versatile, the cloth wipes can be sanitized and clean other things too or be extra stuffing for a cloth diaper (which is also insanely versatile and great for emergency back ups)

I was told a bottle washer was unnecessary but I have used it daily since she was born and I don’t regret it for a second. Could I hand wash and sterilize by hand? Yeah but that time could also be spent with my baby.

The sink thing ALWAYS disgusted me. One, I don't want my baby bathing where my dirty dishes go. Two, I don't want my dirty dishes that I am trying to clean to go in a sink where a baby most likely shit and pissed in as they tend to do in baths.
