I once came across a leader (Lt) punishing his troop with this position of so called corrective training...after finding out it was for a very petty thing and to proof a point...I asked him to explain the type of corrective training he couldn't..and asked him to show me the position he couldnt do it himself. Pushup position is corrective training not that. If you cannot do something yourself dont punish others.
