I went to Kmart for some water shoes because we were Island hopping and going rock climbing while visiting the British Virgin Islands, but I was sidetracked on my quest because there was a whole isle and then some of alcohol more than reasonably priced and tax-free. . I had to give into the urge to buy some duty-free alcohol while I was in St. Thomas at Kmart. The last few slides I went to the local ABC store here in NC to see pricing for the same alcohol and it is drastically different. Wray and Nephew was about $26.95. Appleton was about $24.95, Cruzan Rum was $11.95. . I would say I got them for 50% less in St.Thomas than purchasing it here. I always try and buy alcohol that is not available to me stateside however the price of the Appleton, Wray and Nephew and the Cruzan Rum was just so reasonable that I wasn’t gonna not buy it even though I do have access to it over here. 🤷🏽‍♀️ . Hennessy Pure White was $59 in the airport in Puerto Rico. That was the least expensive I’d seen it while traveling. Additional luggage was purchased to transport said alcohol back home. You can check a max of 6 bottles no more than 750ml per bottle. . P.S. That’s not all my alcohol! My sister grabbed her bottles of choice. I did buy the Pusser’s Rum when I got home so I can make Pain Killer’s at home. That’s how much I love that drink but, nothing beats having it in St.Thomas with a gorgeous view. . #dutyfree #liquor #stthomasusvi #shoppingcart #kmart
