@replydigitally: Afghan in UK News, Afghan Asylum Seekers in UK: An 18-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, Suleman Tajzai, is standing trial at London’s Old Bailey for the brutal murder of 26-year-old Farmanullah Shirzad in Westminster, London. Prosecutor Julian Evans told the court that the attack stemmed from a dispute involving allegations that the victim had been stalking and harassing the defendant's cousin's wife. According to the prosecution, Tajzai carefully planned the attack by purchasing a large kitchen knife in Leeds and traveling 150 miles to London, where he lay in wait in the dark near the victim's home. As Shirzad approached his residence, Tajzai launched a violent ambush, stabbing him repeatedly in the chest and neck, inflicting fatal injuries that caused him to die at the scene. Following the attack, the suspect fled back to Leeds, where he was subsequently tracked down and arrested by the police.
