@tourettetaxi: Night 7 of 7 ❤️ I saved the most-loved one for last. 🌎 Four minutes! That’s all the time I ever spent with this gentleman. I picked him up, we shared this 4 minute ride, I dropped him off… and never seen him again. Somehow, those 4 minutes traveled around the world. Everything you see in this video was completely UNSCRIPTED. He simply started playing along with me, hoping to make my day a little brighter and maybe someone else’s too. He had no idea just how many people he would make smile. ❤️ He didn’t make me feel embarrassed. He didn’t make me feel different. He didn’t make me feel like I needed to explain myself.** He just laughed with me.** I’ve lived with Tourette Syndrome since I was 6 years old. I learned a long time ago that I can’t control having Tourette’s, but I can choose how I live with it. And I CHOOSE to laugh. Not because Tourettes is always funny or easy, but because sometimes laughter takes the power away from the hard parts. This complete stranger reminded me of that in just 4 minutes. Then I dropped him off, we went our separate ways, and that was it. When I posted this at the end of 2023, it went worldwide. 🌎 A four-minute ride between two strangers brought laughter and joy to more people than I could have ever imagined. And THAT is what Tourette Taxi has always been about. Connection. Acceptance. Awareness.
