The double standard is LOUD. Disagree with Mamdani’s politics all you want, but if you think he doesn’t belong at a 9/11 memorial because he’s Muslim or because of his ethnicity or background, that’s prejudice and Islamophobia. Period. Meanwhile, Trump pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, who was convicted of a massive drug-trafficking conspiracy, and welcomed Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa—a former al-Qaeda-linked militant leader—to the White House. If we’re going to judge Mamdani by the worst actions of people who share his religion or background, then by that same ridiculous logic, should we label every American a rapist, pedophile, racist, bigot, or misogynist because Americans who fit those descriptions exist or have held positions of power? Of course not. You can’t have it both ways. Judge people by THEIR actions—not their skin color, religion, or background. Racism and Islamophobia don’t become acceptable just because you disagree with someone politically.

man's got like a 70% favorabolity rating in NYC and these people out here hating on someone who was 9 years old at the time 9/11 happened....like he was the cause of it.
