Honestly, the line seems up too far for a light like this one, especially if he turned any wider he was possibly going into that pole. I’m also just based on its distance from the light. He’d still be at fault, but that line definitely needs moved back.

I would say your fault bc it kind of looked like you were over the white line but once you backed up I realized he was over the white line and didn’t turn wide enough so yea 100% his fault

As much as I wanna side with the cam driver I have to say you should be aware when if a semi is turning and you should stay back to allow the semi to turn properly

you know they have to take wide turns and if you can clearly see he’s not gonna make that wide turn start backing up to make room for him to get into his lane, that’s a empty trailer too so it makes it ten times harder for him to turn.

Situations like this are exactly why the inside lane stop line is further back, but the POV car was behind the stop line. I'm generally on the trucker side if there's any ambiguity, because they get blamed enough for things that aren't their fault, but in this case the semi driver was simply not paying enough attention. He could have approached that turn differently so as not to cut the corner. Luckily he spotted the issue in time and was going slow enough that he could stop.

lanes are pushed back for that exact reason and had he not started turning so fast and too early he wouldve made it. im wondering if that light was yellow and he was trying to make it

seems like someone for got they was in there truck today. if he would have pushed it wide in the intersection and slowed down he could have made it without taking the povs bumper.

Now, the Trucker is in the wrong, I will say that, but usually people give the semi’s room just in case, but you did the right thing, stop behind the white line, stay on your side of the road, so your in the right.
