@skynews: Prince George has started his first day at Eton College. Historian and educator Sir Anthony Seldon has told Sky News there "would be a real case" for the future king attending a local state school, but "he would be made to feel unusual". #PrinceGeorge #RoyalFamily #UK
The real question is why hasn’t the royal family been abolished yet

Imagine, there's a young British girl right now who's planning her college career around George, just like his mum did with William.

That boy going to Eton was decided the day he was born therefore I’m not really understanding why the media is making this a big deal because this is been known for years and Kate couldn’t put you a scuffle because she has known the score from Day 1.

If you read Harry’s book which makes a whole lot of sense, the British monarchy is a brand, and the brand has to maintain its aura of royalty, being special, wouldn’t happen if they send their children to state schools

He would never go to a state school 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have heard it all now! He had to go to Eaton it’s a historical tradition. He won’t care about communicating far and wide, his future was planned out from birth. He is there to prepare and learn how to be a king 😳

He can’t develop naturally because there’s nothing natural about monarchy.

The Eton tradition is from Spencer side. Diana’s brother and father, in addition William and Harry, all attended Eton.

The whole idea of "Royalty" is outdated in this day and age.

Why do we discuss this so much, who would care where a boy that you don’t know goes to school

Eaton produces the best of the best. Why would they choose elsewhere?

He’s still a child. He has plenty of time. Don’t begrudge him the protection afforded him at Eton for him to have as normal a school experience a future king could ever have. It’s all a abnormal life. Quite cruel to children of royals. William made his lifelong friends at Eton that are his grounding and support that allow him to be the good working Royal he is now. I hope this is the place that allows George to become who he wants to be.

It would be total reckless abandon to send him to a comp. How is this even a conversation.
