@clearcreekadventureranch: Daisy Mae - Born Blind - Day 55 Today while training Daisy Mae, I didn’t call her name. I didn’t talk to her. I didn’t make any sounds to get her attention. I just started walking… And Daisy Mae followed me just by listening to the sound of my footsteps moving through the grass. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! Does that blow your mind as much as it does mine? Even though we have other blind animals here at Clear Creek Adventure Ranch that have learned to navigate their world in incredible ways, it still amazes me every single time I witness something like this. Daisy Mae may not be able to see where I’m going… But she can hear me. She recognizes me. And she trusts that if she follows those footsteps, I’m going to lead her somewhere safe. Is that not an example of how we should be with our Father in Heaven? How we should be quite enough to hear His footsteps and follow Him with trust and faith knowing He will lead us to exactly where we will live our best life.
