not in my case my fingerprints aren't recognised on the system at the bank so I have to go to home affairs and I can't make an appointment online it keeps telling me password is incorrect so what do I do in this situation?

Capitec was a breeze. In and out in 10 minutes for 2 of us. Takes 2 weeks to get the new ID

But what if you are in the position like my husband who has been here from a year old, but was born in Zim? He is a South African citizen, has a RSA ID & passbook but he can't get a card because he wasn't born here! He turned 55 today so he's lived here all his life

Did mine at Capitec two months ago took 5 minutes to do in the branch and 7 days later I picked it up R150 what a pleasure.
