Sephiroth was born to be used by greedy men like Hojo and President Shinra. There were people like Glenn and Angeal who helped him find his light, but even they were taken away from him. He still considered leaving Shinra before the Nibelheim Incident, but afterward, he completely lost himself. The decisions he made were driven by anger, obsession, and Jenova’s influence. It was like fulfilling his alien mom’s wishes was the only way he knew how to keep going. I wish he could let go of all those lies and all that nonsense and build the life he was looking for—a normal life, even though he didn’t really know what that would look like. But it seems like he can’t break free from the chains that still hold him. Anyway, your edit is really goated.
