I LOVE traveling alone, but will still get so anxious until I’ve checked into my hotel. Anxious in the car going to the airport, anxious going through security, anxious on the flight, anxious at baggage claim, anxious on public transport, anxious until the key card is handed to me. Then it’s great!! 😊

i do this everytime and i have been to 37 countries mostly alone, have lived in over 6 states alone and 2 countries, and am fiercely independent yet cry like this since my brain has developed lol it’s also worse if im leaving my parents
