i have a theoretical question. if the defender just stops the ball in their own penalty box and the goalkeeper rushes out to and takes the ball with his hands, would that be an indirect freekick?

It's hard for me to accept that this is not a DOGSO situation and that the goalkeeper shouldn't be sent off, especially that referee will not show him any sanction. He prevented an obvious scoring opportunity by deliberately catching the ball with his hands. Ok, He was allowed to play with his hand in the penalty area, but he was not allowed to do so after a teammate deliberately passed the ball to him with his foot. 🤷🏻♂️
