i started wearing makeup a little bit older than her i think and it’s fine she’s not wearing full faces guys. It’s BLUSH and MASCARA it’s not gonna ruin her skin.

I’d explore more of WHY she feels the need to put on makeup. If she only wants to play with makeup sure go ahead! But if she feels the need to put makeup on and dress up like an influencer to go out in public spaces that’s a deeper conversation here. And there’s absolutely no judgment in my words

I grew up with an older sister.. I got my first Estée Lauder lipstick, Mac blush, and covergirl pressed powder (the blue one) when I was 10. Creating routine and teaching women how to take of themselves is a good thing.. keep in mind there is a big majority of women who had to learn hygiene and routine on their own. Learned how to do their own hair. We had beauty guru’s too. Let them be creative

i was gifted a caboodle filled with drug store products for christmas when i was 10, after years of digging through my moms makeup and pissing her off. this is completely normal! makeup isnt just bs and catfishing, makeup is ART and i wish more people treated it that way

born in 2000 and my mom let me start wearing mascara at 11 to school. before that she would put on mascara for special events if i asked bc what little girl doesnt like feeling pretty like her mom??? i just wanted to be like her!
