@psycofactz: You buy for $70, sell for $80, buy back for $90, sell for $100. How much profit did you make? Most people say $10. 👇 #intelligence #iqtest #mathpuzzle #brainteaser #logic #logiq
Creator is wrong… if he said total profit, 20$ would be correct, but the way he asked the question is misleading

can u not just do (100+80) - (70+90)? it’s basic math of revenue minus cost equals profit 😭😭

it's 0 profit.
70-80= +10
need 10 for 90,
80(including the first profit) +10 so you have 10debt.
you sold it for 100 so you got 10 back.

bought it at $70,sold at$80
making a profit of $10,
$80+$10(profit made first)=$90 used for buying it back, at this point no profit
then sold at 100 making a profit of $10 only

logically thinking if you are buying something for 70 selling for 80 you have profit of 10 and then when you it again for 90 you are in dept of 10 and then selling it again for 100 your dept is paid you technically you Earned 0 profit prove me wrong if you can

He made $10 profit.
He bought it for $70 and then sold it for $80. He got $10. Then he bought it again fro $90 which is $10 extra. So he lost the $10 he got earlier. Then be sold it again for $100. So, at last, he made $10

it's 10, why? he buyed it for 70$ resell it as 80$ then he "buyed" it back by 90$ so 80+10 equal basically 0 then resell it by 100$ so 90$ as baseline then it's only 10$
20$ on the other hand because they start at 80$ which is 10+10 but no you don't get it neither the creator as the first 10 dollar was used, it's not profit its just a money used to buy another item so it's not so called profit therefore it's only 10$.

even if you treat as one deal, total buying price is $70 + $90 = $160, and Total selling price is $100 + $80 = $180, so profit = SP - BP i.e 180 - 160 = $20

Is it not niether? The only thing I don’t follow is where you got the 90$ from? Im assuming that you simply re-invested the $80 and went 10$ into debt and came out with 100$, meaning you started with 70$, re-invested it, and came out with 30$ profit.

it's 20 because u bought something for 70 that means -70 and u sold it = + 80 and bought it again for 90 = -90 then u sold it for 100 that means +100
= -70 + 80 - 90 + 100
= 10 - 90 + 100
= -80 + 100 = 20
