If 20-30 mmhg compression works and her calf size is under 81 cm, you might want to look into Mojo Compression Socks-Open toe. They’re great knee highs up to 7x (I prefer the pink, grey, and brown because the fabric doesn’t feel like pantyhose). $20 on Amazon. I Started at a 6x and have worked my way down to 3x over the past year.
