imo sanji has better writing as a tritagonist because his flaws, trauma, relationships and character development are explored consistently throughout the entire story, with a lot of setup and payoff. kurapika is more thematically focused and arguably deeper in some areas, but most of his strongest development is concentrated around his revenge and the arcs directly tied to it
