I'm a craftopia LOVER when I play palworld all I can do is sit around and talk about how their open world systems have changed. anyone remember having to set pylons across the map for autonomous stuff?

Craftopia was essentially a feature test bench for the studio that they packaged as a game. Its like a billion random items and gameplay mechanics. The game feels like a completely undirected studio asset dump held together by duct tape. Theres interesting stuff in there but the game absolutely has the playing doing nothing and going no where.

I legitimately did not know this. I used to play craftopia years ago. I found out about Palworld because I love Pokémon. Man thinking about it now the font and designs of shit was extremely familiar and I never knew why. I know exactly why now.

That's crazy, one of the biggest concerns a lot of people had going into Palworld was how a previous game of theirs was unfinished. completing development on that game will restore a lot of good faith.

Craftopia was never abandoned. It was so getting updates. That game was a proof of concept for what they were capable of doing and learning before moving on to Palworld 🙄🤷
