I get this take, but it’s normal to have the decency to have a final conversation with someone you have been intimate with. It’s respect and consideration. We can not justify someone’s lack of capacity or cowardice with “they do not owe you that and they can leave anytime they want”. That is true, however, there’s a respectful way to go about it. And I say this as a FA who’s been in therapy for years becoming secure

It’s been 3 months since the breakup. I’ve moved forward with my life and excepted it. At this point in time I don’t need any explanation from her. I did want some clarification when we broke up. I hope she finds the happiness and peace I couldn’t give her.
