Ledley King made his Tottenham debut against Liverpool in 1999, made a total of 323 appearances for Spurs, became club captain in January 2005 (his first game as official captain ended in a (5-2 win against Everton), and lifted the Carling Cup in 2008 in a 2-1 win over Chelsea. And man was doing all of that with knees being held together by hope & prayer. One of the coldest defenders I’ve ever seen in a Tottenham shirt. No nonsense, drama or tantrums… just pure class. Ledley is a PROPER Tottenham Hotspur legend and I won’t hear different. What are you guys saying?
