@sinisterstoriesuk: Daniel Pelka was a 5 year old boy living in Coventry with his mother Magdalena Łuczak (27) and her partner Mariusz Krężołek (33). The couple abused Daniel daily in horrific ways with no known reason. He was beaten with their hands and feet, items in the household and force fed salt. He was starved, locked in a cupboard room with only a mattress and no light. They would repeatedly drown Daniel so he would become unconscious and stop crying. On one occasion he was caught stealing food from his schools bins, which of course was reported to his mum Magdalena. For punishment, when he was home from school he was forced to fed salt until he vomited and then beaten. It’s unknown what level and extent the abuse went to so perhaps Daniel suffered more than what’s known. He weighed only 1 stone and a half at the time of his death. He should’ve been loved. Another child failed by the system. He was seen by doctors, the school reported bruising on Daniel and the ‘stealing’ of food should have been a major concern. But it wasn’t enough.
