exactly. My friend was gunner on helicopter he just shot at buildings doesn't know who where in those buildings. He fights in his head daily to try to deal with it. so sad.

A guy i know was a machine gunner during Vietnam. He had to smoke check a lot of women and children. Perry drank himself to death.

I lost my brother a few hours ago. He was a Vietnam hero of veteran one of the biggest patriots I’ve ever known in my life was diagnosed of Alzheimer’s disease several years ago, and someone would disagree with me, but I think stories that he told he told with clarity he called himself a killer. His wife quickly made him stop talking. He always smiled. He was happy, but I could see through the veil the darkness I think all veterans for their sacrifice may my brother rest in peace.

my husband fought in both iraq and afghanistan he has ptsd because of it. he hasn't told me much of what he did or saw and i don't push it i just listen. these men and women have been through so much

My Husband is a Marine Viet Nam vet. This email is so true. 58 years later and it’s never left him. Only God and a wonderful Vet Center counselor saved our marriage. Few stay together. I thank God he was central in our life. He couldn’t totally accept salvation because of what he’d done. How could God forgive that? Took years to get there.
